may it be known that
wisdom comes first after God
As my mind splits open
as a broken egg
on the floor of knowledge
As it dawned on me
when i realized i failed
to achieve what my
strength could accomplish.
clear as sound
transparent as word
is the spirit of understanding.
The pace of a journey
is not in its speed,
its the distance covered
by each step of the way.
time may not permit you
to meet with history
cause it often comes after you are gone.
walking towards a tornado
with a burning candle,
on one hand is the situation of life.
you guard the flame
with the second hand
the hand of wisdom,
the shield that keeps the fire burning.
