Running

 I'm running scared
for what is before me
is after me...
Haunted in the forest of my dreams
my reality nightmare screams
panting and running heart in hand
as tears watered dry land.

Bitter smell of pain
the odor of horror
poured in the rain
by the hand of terror

Taste of fear sweetened sour
vision of the darkest hour, for the
clock tells what time sees.
As tears fall from the dark sea

I see ahead footsteps
I hear behind footsteps
enclosing my mind with fear
the world i hold dear,
held with shock, my heart
running out of luck.

My soul to take
down the river lake.
A bereft world of tears,
a bunch of feelings left to share.
Troubled joyfully in distress... What
a sad day it is to cry of happiness...

Heavenly Hell

Shedding her light from the sky,
the morning moon of glory

As I took off to begin a story
My last step stopped at the edge of a hill
Staring at the depth of darkness
I took off into a depth of messy gory.
Dark is the night but sleeps still,
Quiet is its hours walking on its toes round the clock (tick-tock)

Down below breathes of dirt and stink
Sin and death the scorpion that stings,
The joy of sadness, the sorrow of bitterness
Crying in pain moaning hurtful tears
A burning hell of loneliness.

Oh hell!!! heavens home of pain
Guide me through the fire
Shade me from pain
Turn my sins to ashes
Forgive its temptation
Ghost of the underworld hiding in shadows
Break free and release tomorrow.

Oh heaven! hear my plea
Turn the lights on and save me from darkness

Many A Questions

How much level of spirituality does man have to go to become human, does he have to levitate and become an angel in the falling skies or be buried in the rising of the earth to be more of earth than of spirit, to die as earth and live in spirit, eternally as a spirit? And it seems no one knows either where to fall whether up or down? By the power to become human weakened by the strength to become flesh. But whatever the questions not asked might be, think of the answer that might not be. That the opposite side of black is white does not mean that white is the twin of black or might it be that the sun is the reflection of the moon above the sea from the sky? Now who among you is free of what is bestowed at birth but by grace salvaged from it? Well, if I say no one knows but only 6 feet below, what would that imply? But for clarity of mind. God is God, no man is God... So therefore, "no more let life divide what death can put together."

Bartimaeus

In the dark all there is to see is as far as a step, its probably the farthest to go in moving a lil bit forward. In the dark the heart thrum at the fear of the unseen before feeling what is not heard by the sound of touch. Clamour rages within the eyes searching for what to behold looking everywhere at the sight of nothing.

Firm is the courage of confusion to death lost of insight as to which way to lead through, walking in between steps to find a way along a path to where light shines through. A couple and one thoughts pour horror in the well of the mind and its demons begin to hide in the open, nothing matters anymore failing to find light that quench the agony of darkness. Searching to the beginning from the end of darkness hoping to come across light as a friend in deed, one, at the point of need, saviour of the eyes to lead farther than a step in the right direction but to all avails as the illusion of blindness. Shouting for help amidst the cry of silence to be found by light and guided by sight the bliss of a shameful ignorance

Change Nigeria

Don't believe what I say if it isn't true. That we are safe is a threat that brings ruin to our door steps. What wrong of ours is it, to choose among us those to lead us. What fault is it of the coming generation to suffer the mistakes of our choices? Too many questions about billions and millions missing with no whereabouts, what happened to the well being of the masses that requires the use of these? We see around us the injustice corruption has brought upon us all in the name of democracy, but are we that blind to notice the missing 200 amongst us or would I say taken before our eyes, or should I bring to your notice the daily loss of lives that toll under the name of terrorism, and yet everyone seems to be focused on making promises and advocating service to the people when the truth about it is nothing but a lie. The economy keeps crippling as we sit and listen to the lies and promises of yesteryears that has not stopped us from screaming "up nepa!!!". I ask, is it a crime to have constant power in a country like ours, education has failed to provide the society with qualified graduates. Our roads - highway to the graves for many. Challenge is the routine, hustling and bustling to make ends meet and yet there are those inspite the abundance of natures gift to us removed subsidy and still nothing got better. Better for it not to be our curse that things remain the same. So I ask, who are we if not Nigerians where do we reside if not Nigeria and what have we got if not us... I implore that we gather as one and speak to this situation by causing a change.

Dying Dead

Death lurks in the dark town of life
Fear is gripped by the cold hands
That bears pain in the heart of man.

Aching in his soul is the agony of frustration
Torn dreadfully into pieces of saddened sorrow.
Realities kiss taste as bitter as truth
as it lie on the lips of a broken heart.

Remembrance of a life after life
A memory in the future of a moment
The dream of his imagination,
Picture in mind - it is yet to be known.

The Leverage of Life - Hope

Image courtesy of [Stuart Miles] / FreeDigitalPhotos.net

The soul of the dead
Flushed out of reality
Dead souls crying in pain,
The ache of immortal agony.
Six feet below are un lived lives,
Dashed hopes and unfulfilled destinies

Live for today and hope for tomorrow
Die today and never see tomorrow
Hope never lives after the end
It survives through the beginning and
Suffers only at the end

Hope stays with life but is lost in death.
Life is for a moment but death is forever,
As the aftermath of a crowded history that has
Come to an abrupt end.
